Very little connection between historical reality and media presentation of it.

The US media currently seem always to seek out negatives regarding the US, both current and historical. By reading Yahoo Answers, though, I can see that a lot of people are actually studying history and don't believe everything they see on TV.

The media is undoubtedly skewed in it's views
