I would think tomatoe would be fairly simple to get out of clothing. Just try any of the stain removers from the store. Cholrex, Stainaway, etc. Just let it sit on the shirt for a while and wash as usual.

The stain will be hard to remove if you have dried the shirt in the dryer. Let's start over at trying to remove the stain. Run cold water on the stain & rub the spot as the water is running on it. Next, try putting some Dawn dish soap on the spot & rubbing it. You can add a little bit of laundry soap to the spot also. Set the shirt aside for a little while, then wash the shirt in cool water. If the stain didn't come out, then repeat the steps again. Do not dry the shirt until the spot is gone, as the heat will set the stain deeper. Era laundry soap is also good for stain removal, as is Windex. Good luck, I hope the stain comes out for you.

My grandmother always said that the sun would take a tomato stain out, and it really works. I would put some stain remover on it and let it soak for a while, then wash again, and then dry on the line. It always works for my tomato stains! GOOD LUCK!

This is a spot remedy that I use that seems to work on most anything - even spots that I have missed, washed and dried!
Spray the spot with Shout stain remover. Scrape it into the spot (I just use me fingernail) - do this really well. Put a good tablespoon or so worth of Oxyclean on it...rub it around, let sit for about 20 minutes and then wash.

Tough Stain Remover
Keep this pretreatment solution on hand in the laundry room to use on virtually all tough clothing stains, Just combine 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 1/2 cup of ammonia, and 2 squirts of liquid soap and 2 quarts of water. keep solution in a clearly labeled spray bottle. Until you do this you can use 1/4 vinegar and 1/2water mix and apply to the stain with a squirt of soap.

It depends on the material and the color and whether or not you dried it in the dryer. If so, you set it in. Cola works great on grease stains and set in stains. Just soak the garment for half an hour in cola and then rinse and wash all over again.

Now that's a hard one !! But what I MIGHT~TRY is to: Soak it in something that might desolve that stain slowly & might not ruin the color quality is: ?? soak it for about 40 minutes or less in a mixture of generic soap powder & squeeze half of a lemon in it for the acid quality of the juice;but soak it in water first about 10 minutes so the soap remember you do'nt want to risk ruining the color!?! Good luck~!!-[5/5/07] "R"r,r`r'r.r'.->

Try letting the shirt soak in ice water for some hours. Then spray the spot heavy with Spray and wash. It worked with my daughters shirt one day when she had spaghetti. If that doesn't work then your shirt is doomed.
