I think you already have the idea. A eunuch is a man with his testicles cut off. Because his body produces a lot less testosterone he will be more feminine -- have softer skin, more body fat, less aggression and sexual urges etc, and of course he couldn't have children. If the process is done before puberty he will also have a high-pitched voice that doesn't change. You might also be interested in learning about castrati, who were male singers in the middle ages and renaissance. In the ancient world eunuchs were often guardians of harems.

A Eunuch is a male slave or family assistant for the home for heavier work than the ladies in waiting would be able to handle.
Anyone working as a Eunuch would first be emasculated by castration !
Ouch!

A eunuch is a male who has been castrated. In some cases young boys with exceptionally good singing voices were castrated to preserve their high voice. Those males did sound and somewhat look feminie (in a drag queen kind of a way).
In other cases males were castrated to train as harem guards. That way they couldn't initiate an affair with any of the females they were guarding. They were typically encouraged to eat alot so they would get really big and be more intimidating to an intruder.

A eunuch is a man who, before he entered puberty, was castrated (had his testicles removed). So he never really developed sexually. Without testicles, a man will be more effeminate - not very hairy, higher voice, etc.
A long time ago a kings would have servant boys made into eunuchs to serve his wives since then there would be men around to protect & serve them who wouldn't be able to have sex with them.

a eunuch is a male with his testicles castrated (Chopped off). Some times a penectomy is performed to have a similar effect.
This was typically done as a punishment but more often to prepare a man for guard duties, relating to females of importance; of royalty. Thus ensuring that no adultery or fooling around is done.
Sigh, what us males must do to make a living...

They are men who are infertile, and yes this is accomplished by cutting off a man's testicles. It is not a pleasant process but it is done to make sure that the men guarding a harem will not father children with the women. It doesn't mean that they can have no sex at all, and sometimes they can prove to be very creative and very desirable to the women, in other ways that procreation. Of course once their testicles are removed the male hormones cease and therefore for young boys who are castrated, have their balls removed, before puberty, then their voices remain high.
In Italy they did this, for awhile, so that the choirs and operas would have a lot of men with high voices. A dumb idea that was soon stopped.

Eunuchs are males who have been sterilized, usually before they hit puberty. They sound and look feminine because they never had enough testosterone to develop their masculine attributes.
