I had a similar problem(hard drive clicking and stop responding) and I'm pretty sure its your power supply(mine was held together by scotch tape) Check to see if the plug is loose or if the cables are crimped

Did you check that your power supply is up to the job?

If your hard drive pulls the supply rails down, even a little, the system will shut down.

If this is it you can either get Ghost and transfer your 60GB to your 400GB and pull the 60GB, or get a decent power supply upgrade.

If you have a CompUSA near you that is closing their power supplies are 60% off now...!
