this person used to write to me as well, but now all they send is funny pictures n crap and don't write anymore. I mean, i don't mind a laugh, but why do this, and what should i do about the situation?

be honest,write and ask them nicely to stop. Can't you delete them or block them if they are that annoying ?

Tell them how much you miss them. If they still don't write back, they probably aren't worthy of you anyway.
