I have a Jeep Liberty and I skidded and swerved pretty bad today in a rain storm I was in the process of making a left turn. Now the steering is really loose and I have to turn the wheel alot more in either direction and the truck feels like the back wheels are pulling in the oppositie direction of where I want to turn. What did I do?

i own a repair shop and id say it has knocked the front end out of alignment on it,and possibly did damage to a tie rod end or a ball joint, you need to have this checked out real good and make sure there's nothing that's going to come loose on it,it sounds like right now its almost unsafe to drive, have it checked as soon as possible, good luck hope this helps.

You definitely broke something if you felt the problem in your steering. Tie rods or tie rod ends or even one of the arms are suspects.

Take it to a mechanic ASAP and have it lifted up for a thorough check.

take it a mechanic to check it out, especially if you hit a curb
