I totally agree, I hate movie crossovers. I loved Predator, but AVP totally ruined it for me.

Alien Vs Predator sucked. They really pussed out when they didn't make it R. Paul WS Anderson - screw him. Him and Uwe Boll.

I hate all the PG-13 movies of the past half-decade or so, skimping out on the gore in favor of getting 14-year-olds' parents' money. The Ring (and its sequel), Darkness Falls, The Grudge (and its sequel), The Return, Pulse, Soul Survivors, Cry_wolf, The Messengers, Boogeyman, The Fog, When a Stranger Calls, Stay Alive, The Darkness (most of these are Sony movies, by the way. Greedy, greedy Sony...). The only one I think was fine being PG-13 was Dark Water.

Freddy Vs Jason was alright. Too campy, but alright. They also pussed out with their unclear ending in favor of money, with an open ending to let you know there's gonna be sequel. And Freddy's wink at the end wasn't like an "I'll be back" wink to me. It was more like, "Hah. We tricked you into paying for this movie and you didn't even get what you wanted."

I felt if Freddy Vs Jason was missing anything it was being Freddy Vs Jason. It's got that title and Freddy and Jason don't even fight until the last 10 minutes. And then at the end of that ten minutes, there's no winner. I felt bad for the Freddy fans 'cause he only killed one guy.

At the time, I thought the movie was great (before buying the DVD and rewatching it a bunch of times, with and without the commentary on). I compared it to being like a fantastic bl%w job but when you're about to come, it's taken out and jerked off all over your belly.

actually, i like the fact that they end in a tie--that way, when they make a sequel, you won't know who will win.

there were two boxers in real life (they are not heavyweights) that sort of traded the title back and forth over a period of time--one would win on one occasion, the other on another occasion. apparently they were so evenly matched that some little thing would tip the scales one way or the other evertime they fought.

i like that idea and the idea of a tie. it always gives them a reason for a rematch.
