If I were you, I'd try every other day from the 23rd through the 28th.

Try to get a more accurate result as to when you ovulate by using an ovulation predictor kit. I would try immediately after the test is positive then up to 2 or 3 days after. But given the info above, you should have ovulated on 4/26/07. Since sperm can live inside you for several days, the days you tried were at a good target. After this is taken into account, you still only have a 25% chance of conceiving. Good luck :)

If you really want to know when you're ovulating pick up a copy of Toni Weschlers book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" In it she explains how to monitor your bodies changes to tell when ovulation is approaching. You can't go by ovulation calendars or assume a day 14 ovulation because women generally don't fall into the category of a mathematical equation. You could ovulate almost any time. Usually it will be anywhere from 12 to 16 days before you're period but that's only because that's how long a normal luteal phase is. If you chart, you'll know weather you have a normal one or what's called a luteal phase defect. Basically, the point is if you're really wanting to take charge and get pregnant fast, the only way is to start listening to your body. Once you understand the basics of the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) you can go to a site like fertilityfriend.com and apply your knowledge. Goodluck!

You did good this month. Going by the calendar method, you would have ovulated around the 26th. This means your fertile phase would have been 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27. It doesn't hurt to have sex the day of ovulation as well as the day after, even though the days before are much more valuable.
If you don't get pregnant this month, try having sex a few days before you ovulate, the of ovulation, and the day after ovulation next month.
Good luck, I hope you're preggie!

I have never tried to conceive, it always just happened when I had unprotected sex within 5 days before I was supposed to start my period. Others will give you more accurate advice, but I always say just have lots of sex right before your supposed to start!
