Sperm can live for 3-5 days so it's possible you got pregnant if you ovulated on the 27th. My advice though is to have sex more than once if you are hoping to conceive. Having sex the 24, 25, 26, and 27th would have upped your chances greatly.

Implantation takes place over several days. Implantation spotting occurs at the END of that process. Also remember that implantation bleeding is the EXCEPTION and not the norm. That is, the majority of women don't get this symptom. So I wouldn't look for it as a clue to being pregnant.

Best thing to do is test 3 weeks after you've had sex. This will be around May 15. By then, if you are pregnant, implantation will be over and you should have some hCG built up in your system.

Good luck!

If by sticky mucus you mean clear and stretchy like egg whites, then you probably should have baby danced yesterday because you may have ovulated or be about to ovulate. If that is the case then your baby dance on the 24th is too early, but not impossible. If you are still experiencing egg white mucus or very wet sensation, keep baby dancing and don't stop until you've dried up. Good Luck!

Sticky mucus means you are past ovulation and are drying up, so the 24th was probably a good time to try to conceive.

Have you tried diet and supplements to improve your cycles? I highly recommened the book "Fertility Cycles and Nutrition" by Marilyn Shannon.

Best of luck!

First of all you need to relax..don't focus so hard on the charting and so forth. What I did was monitored my periods..came close to knowing when I ovulated.. I actually went to get a sonogram around the week that I was going to ovulate and the sonogram showed when I was ready to ovulate..asked the nurse some questions and I found out I was pregnant.
