That's what I did and I never regret making this decision. But even better than marrying rich is divorcing rich, and I intend to do that too.

So why are the feminists so shrill about this non-issue?

Well if you are a lesbian or wish to remain single, it isn't an option.

My old university paid women 73% what they paid men. The majority of the heads of department were women. The majority of professors overall were women. Thankfully, the matter has been somwhat resolved and a few years back pay was issued. Although not the 7 years back pay the professors had requested.

The Female professors were also able to show that they sponsered more extra-curricular clubs and had more office hours for their students.

Take that Winona State.

Because not everyone can marry rich. Some can not marry rich, because they don't have what it takes, in looks and sex appeal, to attract a rich man. Some cannot marry rich because they don't have access to rich men. Some can not marry rich because they have to really be in love with a man to marry him, and the heart does not react to a bank account....only the mind can do that! And some cannot marry rich for all of those reasons. I do not want to marry a rich man. I just want to marry a good man, who will just be a partner to me, and share the load. *sm*

I do not consider myself much of a feminist but if I were faced with a feminist or a gold digger I think I would pick the feminist at least she earned what she has with her brain as well as hard work and not on her back or by slipping on a little gold band.

I don't know what there is to whine about. Last time I checked women have all the rights that men do..... Hopefully law makers will not enact some kind of affirmative action for women now! Discrimination to offset discrimination is completely wrong, and that's what affirmative action does!

Well, I think that it should be fair.
Alot of companies factor in things like maternity leave possibilities and things like that though.
Women do miss work more often than men do on the average. their productivity is less on the average.
Thats where it comes in at.

But lower paying just out of sexism is wrong. Its all about the reason.

edit: good hell i didnt read teh whole question.. marrying rich and divorcing rich? what a gold digging &*@!

Marrying for money is ok, but you earn every penny of it.
Having a career and your own money is much better.

By the way, did you ever find a new hairdresser?

they do that because they like to EARN their money by themselves and they feel that we should be past the sexist tirade where men make more then women whn they work equally as hard.

Ummm... maybe because we do not want to be dependent on men... we are trying to prove we can make it on our own without having a man to support us...
