I had breast reduction surgery about four years ago, when i was 22. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. I'm sure different doctors do different kinds of breast reduction surgery, but mine cut me from arm pit to arm pit and from the nipple straight down under the breast. He also cut my nipples off and re-attached them to the newly formed breasts. About 1 1/2 pounds was cut off. Mine was not lipo. Some doctors do lipo. Since there are so many nerves in the breast, you could end up with less feeling/sensation in your breasts. My surgery was four years ago and I do think I have lost some feeling, but I don't think I had that much to begin with. I was an ee/f cup before. Ended up a c cup. Got pregnant again and am now back to a d cup, which is perfectly ok cuz my new shape of my breasts since surgery is awesome. My breasts actually pointed to the floor before. One major thing with a breast reduction is you probably won't be able to breast feed. So it's a really big decision. I'm so happy with my breast reduction, I'd do it over again in a heartbeat!!

consult with a cosmetic surgeon, but as with any surgery that involves being put under sedation, there is always a risk or serious injury or death. You should look at why you want to have this surgery in the first place. Remember that you are beautiful the way you are, and don't let any one tell you otherwise.
