Verizon free nights and weekends?

Can someone explain to me that a little bit more. basically i just want to know if i call someone out of state after 9pm that doesnt have verizon how does that work?

If you have unlimited nights and weekends, you can call to any phone number within the USA for free without using your anytime included minutes. It will start usually after 9:01 pm until 5:59 am the following day., Mondays to Fridays. On weekends it will start Friday 9 pm to Sunday evening 11:59 pm
