What's the best way to help my car survive the summer heat?

During this time of the year the temperatures outside are really hot.. 100º +. i can only park my car outdoors and im concerned about the heat and the sun's rays damaging my car. my car is pretty much brand new, just bought it about 1month ago and i want to keep it in the best condition i can. What are some good ways to help my car keep cool and protect the paint job? The mp3 player in my previous car was killed by the summer heat. i'm taking extra precautions this time around.

first off congratulations on your new car. It's very important to wax your car once a month in extreme tempetures such as yours because that hot sun dries your paint fast so be sure to do that also keep your windows cracked about an inch to let the heat escape. window tinting also helps. to keep your motor in tip top shape make sure you change your anti-freeze and oil. In extreme tempatures you may want to change your oil once a month because the oil breaks down so fast in high climate areas do not put any armor all on your dash the silicone in these types of products willcrack your dash board good luck

Fit an after-market external rear window venetian blind if you can find one. Plastic mesh external covers are also available. Get a dash mat to suit your car, these are moulded carpet. Get a Z-fold panel that you can put up on the dashboard to block heat coming in the windscreen. These drop internal temperatures by multiple degrees. Get the more rigid type, the floppy ones fall down the instant you turn your back. Don't waste your money on the roller blind type.

You can also get nylon mesh panels that are on memory alloy wire. These fold up to about the size of a saucer but spring out to a foot or more square. You can put a couple inside the side windows on the sunny side of the car.

Park in the shade, or on the side of a building or tree where there is some shade during the day. Car covers in cotton are good but are obviously a nuisance if it rains unexpectedly.

If you can handle a sewing machine., you might be able to make one from cotton which only covers the roof and windows. That is smaller and easier to handle than a full cover. A length of rope in the lower hem keeps them down. A hole on a suitable spot lets you display parking vouchers on the dash.

You can get the front window shade for when it is parked and use lots of amor all ,
BUT in the 100+ cities , heat will take it's toll .

Leave windows down a little.Put up a sunshade over the dashboard.Keep Coolant system up to the job.About the Paint ,I don't know.
