Yes, it is possible. Mercury has it's own magnetic field, which protects it from much of the Solar wind. Mercury has a VERY tenuous atmosphere of sodium and potassium but this doesn't amount to much. It also has some areas at the poles which receive much less sunlight, therefore under shelter from the cold we could survive. On the sunny side, we could harness the huge amount of solar energy. If we had to yes, we could survive, but let's try Mars first.

There is no water or atmosphere on Mercury. We would have to take everything with us. That's good for a short stay, like the Moon, but not so good for permanent residency, like moving to the New World in the 1600's.
The hot side of Mercury is 1200F. The dark side is -400F. (The Moon is about 250F and -250F.)
Short answer: probably not.

no ofcourse not its hot *** hell over there but in the new planet that europeans astronomers found, we coukd live there but we can go all the way over there. there might also be life over there siince an astronomer said "and when were tlaking about water, were also talking about life" and we would wieght more over and 13 day is 1 year and its 20 years behind us...can you belive it? how is that? anyway i hope i answered good for you. and we poeple would be living over there too and also dont you think? but the furdest we've done was going to mars. thets how much past away from alien technology.lol
