Well, I suppose economically he did help get Germany out of their post WWI deppression. But then he turned around and created another World war and they had to pay a lot for that one. Not to mention what the rest of the world had to pay for it. So yeah, I still think he was pretty "bad"

Let's set the record straight. Volkwagen was not created by htler. After WW2 there was not much of a highway system in Gemany. I can only think of one person who might have been as evil as htler and that was joseph stalin who killed 20 million in the Soviet Union about the same time. You must be from the same group of people who now say Sadamm Hussein was not so bad. Good thing people in 1941 did not think like people today think. Who knows what the world would be like if we would not have entered WW2 because we did not discover WMDS in Germany. Too bad you could not have asked the 6 million + people who were directly killed by htler whether they would be willing to die in order for Germany to create the Volkwagen or to have a highway system.

Was he bad? Yes.
Was he a product of circumstance? Yes.
Would it have made a difference if someone other than Hitler was in charge of Germany? Ehh...probably not, the anti-semitism was widespread and the treaty after WW1 left Germany in bad condition.
Modern comparison:
Going into Iraq was a bad for America.
But did Bush make a bad decision, or would any person in his position have made the same decision?
Remember, Bush's decision was supported by the public and by Congress at the time it was made.
Same w/ Hitler.
The point:
You can't be a leader unless people are willing to follow you.

A volskwagen and a highway so hes not a bad person? Man when a serial killer kills like 10 people its basicly a life sentence in the u.s. and he set up the whole haulocaust. 9 million people cause there jews and stuff? He is a very disgusting bad man.

He brought Germany out of the Depression, and because of the war he started, the United States, Britain, and France also were pulled out of the Depression.
But he didn't want that, it was never his motive (besides Germany, I mean.) So yeah, he's still pretty bad.
12 million people died in WWII. 6 million of them were Jewish.

And why is the highway systems to Germany and the Volkswagen so important? What is important that we will never have another Holocaust again or another Hitler.

there is some truth to your argument. He united the german people and gave them hope. He restored national pride. Germany was greatly helped by him. But he still killed millions of people and was an evil man. He however, did not kill as many people as some russian and chinesse dictators

Let's review: He murderered more than 11 million people. He tried to take over the world and he bombed and invaded countries. He brought the entire world into War and harmed or killed millions of others who went to war to stop him.
He did build a few things (although he used slave labor and killed milllions to get what he wanted).
So, does the end justify the means? No. Life is sacred. He chose to glorify himself instead.

I feel like bringing transportation technology to Germany (for the purpose of winning an immoral war and moving Jews to extermination camps) DOESN'T OUTWEIGH the fact he wanted to kill people for their race and also their political beliefs and because he was greedy and wanted central Europe to belong to Germany.
