I want a Monroe/Labret piercing really bad. My only concern is that I am getting married in August and I don't want to wear it for the wedding. When I take out the hardware, will there be a noticeable hole? Or will it be so small it wouldn't be noticeable in the wedding pictures?

i don`t think it will be very noticible...once, i lost the ball off my monroe & my jewelry came out in my sleep...by the time i got up (about 3 hours later), my hole had already closed...so, i had to wait 30 days for it to be re-pierced...the hole was barely perceptible, just looked like a tiny pimple scar...so, i don`t think it would be bad, & u could cover it with makeup, so i`m sure it wouldn`t show up...

not sure if you meant either of those or think that they're the same thing. monroe is off to the side above the lip, labret is mid chin under the lip.
probably best to just wait until after the wedding. even if the hole isn't very visible, you might risk it closing up and then having to get it re-done! not cool.

I have my nose pierced and i have a hole in my nose when i take out the nose ring but i love the monroe piercing too but i dont think it will be noticable at your wedding.

If you don't want to wear the jewlery for your wedding, wait until afterwards. You won't be able to remove the jewelry and keep your piercing in that short of time. (oral piercings close up very quickly) You would need to wear a retainer, which might show up in the photos. (A good photographer could do a bit of air brushing to hide it). Retainers hide piercings, but aren't invisible.

My daughter has her nose pierced. When she removes the jewelery she inserts a small piece of fishing filament that has been sterilized in alcohol. I don't think it will show, especially if you are careful applying make up, and as long as it's not infected.

no the hole will not be noticeable. its actually really small and invisible.
