GPA to get into Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC?

I've never seen a university that has a cut-off minimum GPA. A guidance counselor at your school could probably help you determine what the average characteristics are for students who are accepted. They're also going to take into consideration all the other things that they require in their application.

It has to do more with your portfolio and relevant experience than GPA. So focus on that.
