i took EPT pregnenxy test and it says pregnent and says workes 99% does that mean im for sure pregnent or did it mess up and i need take nother one

Home pregnancy tests only check hCG levels and the hormone hCG is produced in pregnancy, which is released in a pregnant woman's urine.
So, unless the woman has been given a medication that contains hCG (Profasi, Pregnyl, Novarel), then a positive HPT should indicate a new pregnancy.

There is a very good chance that you are, but there are such things a false positives, sooo take another test if the second one comes up positive too, time to call OB-GYN they can give you a blood test to find out for sure, and as long as you 14 you can go to the free clinic alone, for a fee of around 10 dollars, just in case you worried about, letting anyone know your worries until your sure...they also have family planning at the clinic that can help you with abortion or adoption if that is what you choose to do. ( just look up family planning it the phone book)

If it says your pregnant, sweetie YOUR PREGNANT! The condom fell off for one of my friends and she was positive she was pregnant. So like a week before her period she tested it and she was pregnant! It did not mess up sweetie! You need to schedule an appointment with an OB/GYN asap! Congrats! Whether or not you planned for this, a new life is a blessing!

Well i took two EPTs and they were both positive, and I was only 4 weeks so I believe they work very well.

It's extremely rare to get a false positive.
The chance is 99% that you are pregnant!
A blood test will confirm for sure.

Well I would guess that if it's positve then maybe you are pregnant but if you want to be sure then go and get a blood test at your Doctor's office. Good Luck!

they say that positive result is for sure positive. So my congratulations! If possible, could you tell what kind of test it was (digital or +/-), and how late with your period you were. I took today (I am at least a day late with my period) and it came out negative. But I feel unususl at all.

I'd say you were pregnant .. maybe go out and get another one to make sure, but they dont normally mess up and give false positives.

as long as you read the directions and followed it closely i would say your pregnant and congrats!!how long did you wait for the results anything after 3 mins are evaporation lines so i hope it registered before the 3 mins. good luck,your going to be a mommy "YAY"

Normally the tests are pretty accurate. I would make a doctors appointment to have you tested. They will confirm if you are or not.
