Some schools may let you pass an elective class this way, but no reputable school would do it for the entire curriculum. And doing so would cheat yourself the most.

When you go to college, you're not just learning medicine, nuclear physics, biology, or whatever your major is. You're also learning at least something about a whole range of subjects - math, english, a foreign language, business, computers, psychology, science, geography, and more. This is supposed to give you a well-rounded education, meaning you can relate to and understand many different topics, as well as apply the discipline you learned in these different classes in the area you want to major in. Psychology will help you understand office politics. Political science will make you a better citizen. Math and statistics will hopefully keep you from playing the lottery. All of these will make you more employable when you start looking for a job.

If you're still in high school, look into taking honors or advanced placement classes. The AP classes offered at our local high school are good for an automatic elective credit in that course in several of the state colleges around here. My son is going to school with a girl who will graduate with enough AP credits to almost reach sophomore status when she gets to college.

More than likely you will still have to take at least 5 classes at your college of choice but there are a lot of classes that you can get credit for by taking AP or CLEP exams. Go to www.collegelboard.org

AP classes in high school, but i wouldnt recommend it, my dad had enough credits to skip freshman year of college, but then he was in over his head and had a hard time acclimating to college and the new material and he got a 1580 on the SAT n had a 4.0, its very difficult to skip years.
