well i believe it originally meant dark hair, but nowadays, it can mean all of the above.

I always took the dark as either just dark hair, Or dark hair and skin. But when I think of dark skin, I think of naturally dark, NOT fake tanned. I hate when guys are really tan if it is not natural.

I was always thinking of dark as in tan. But if that tall, dark, and handsome dude is wearing white, it'll look very bright on him!
