My toilet leaks so I replace the wax ring it lasted 3 days, I then installed a wax free flange that has a rubber gasket, the box says it lasts longer than the wax ring, this lasted 1 day and it still leaks, I checked the water supply, I checked the gasket that is between the tank and the bowl, what do I do.

YOur toilet has a crack on it and the best way to fix it is buying a new one. Cheaper too than calling a plumber. Because he will replace everything liek you did. But he will be charging and it will cost more than a new toilet.

First thing I would do is to inspect bottom portion of toilet bowl for cracks near water outlet. If that isnt it try a larger than usual wax ring, your toilet flange may be set a little low and smaller wax ring not sealing it all the way. Did you recently put new floor in bathroom? Also check to make sure floor under toilet is sturdy and not spongy and flexible. If thats the case when weight is applied to toilet it smashes wax ring down and when weight is released floor pushes toilet back up leaving gap between flange and bottom of toilet bowl. Also, check to see if flange is below floor level in bathroom. If it is all you have to do is use 2 wax rings or buy a larger ovresized ring. Hope i helped

You need to turn off the water to the toilet, take the toilet off and replace the seal under it. That is most likely the problem and its a simple fix but it may just be easier to call a plumber. The porcelain could also be cracked. For that you need a whole new toilet.

Since you have replaced the wax ring twice, you have to think that it is not the ring. Does your toilet rock when you sit on it? If so, then it's a problem with your flooring, if it doesn't rock then you may need a new toilet. good luck

yup sounds like there may be a fine crack in the porcelain... you might need a new toilet... that is considering your installed the wax ring and gasket correctly and they were the correct size..... maybe check if the pvc pipe or flange is cracked

what a coincidence .. lol.. i'm dealin with a leaky toilet here too.. but is not from the base that it's leakin.. mine is comin from somewhere on the bottom of the tank, tried to get some silicone caulking just for the meantime but cant' get in there with it. .sollution keep throwin those towels on the floor so hopefully won't get too much water in the basement. got a new toilet havin plumber that just moved in across from my parents (another coincidence) put it in for me t'morrow!! Good luck with ur leak, just think of it this way.. in the meantime .. if you have kids... can tell them they have an indoor splash pad. haha

You probably need a new toilet call a plumber before the floor rots and your toilet moves down a floor

is the flange above the floor line/ meaning some one put in new floor but left the flange low, if so use 2 waxrings.

Sounds like you need to go to the home depot and pick out a new commode... 'cause yours is cracked!

Don't forget to shut the water off first!
