a manager served me at the restaurant i work for. he assumed i was 21 and didn't card me. can i be fired and can that manager be fired

You cannot be fired for being served alcohol unless u actually drank it and kept it. If you asked the manager to take it back that means that you are not at fault. The manager can be fired because he served beer without checking an ID.

The manager can be fired for serving a minor. You and the manager both could have been in trouble with the Alcohol and Beverage Commission had they chosen to conduct an inspection while you ere enjoying your beverage.

Since the drink was consumed without incident, you are both probably fine assuming no one else knows that you are underage and reports you. From now on, please don't make a practice of accepting alcoholic drinks while you are underage.

You put the restaurant at risk of losing their alcohol license by accepting that drink. You should have told him "No thank you I am under age". I think that you probably could be fired because you could have cost the owners their lively hood by doing this.

No, but your manager could if the ABC (Alcohol & Beverage Commision) came in and carded you with a drink in your hand.

Although the Manager did not check your age, nevertheless, you should have decline the drink.

the manager already checked ur ID while he'e registering u in the system
he already knows ur over 21
