Was wondering if anyone knew of a place that had a list of the wireless cards that would still break wep.

Yes there are cards that can break wep and those than can't due how they are made. And second breaking into an encrypted network isn't always illegal depending on the circumstances.

What card - none, its a software issue.

In any case it is illegal, what exact circumstance could you possibly come up with which you would need to crack WEP to get online legally.

Either the owner gives you the key legally or you crack the key illegally. If you have network access you can read the key!
