It depends on what you're feeding them and how big your tank is. I have a 20 gallon tank and i will usually feed my tropical fish (4) about twice a day but I feed them frozen bloodworms (they love them).
With flake food you can feed them 2-3 times a day but you only need a small amount. It's always good to kinda rub the flakes between your fingers so they are smaller bite size pieces.

I just read a great article on this in Aquarium Fish magazine. The types of fish make the biggest difference. Herbivores eat constantly and feeding 5-6 times a day is likely. Carnivores can eat one big meal every other day. All my fish are omnivores and I feed them a wide range of food 3-4 times a day.

Most people feed either once or twice a day, personally, I feed twice a day. As others have said, just be careful not to over feed the fish. All they can eat in 3-4 minutes is plenty per feeding.

Well without knowing the fish you have and how many i cant really help, at a rough guess then every other day For goldfish, no more than 3 times a week I feed all mine daily (apart from goldfish which are every couple of days) because i have really good filtration in a well matured tank. My guppy fry are fed about 4 times a day so it really does depend on your tank and your fish. Think about it, every bit of food you put in there stays in there until you clean it out

It all depends on the fish you have, my freshwater sharks eat madly 2x a day while some of thy other fish only care to eat once a day. If they are eating 2x a day, then its fine, just make sure to keep an eye on the bottom of the tank to ensure ur not overfeeding and leaving a lot of waste. Opnly feed what they can eat in 10 min

I feed my Bettas twice a day. I have them trained now to come to the top & actually take the food from my fingers! I get a lot of enjoyment from them. At nite I lite little "tea lite" candles & put them beside the bowls. They swim twds. the lites & seem to enjoy it. They also come to the top whenever I walk near them. They definately do like attention. I just give them what they take from my hand feedings & leave a few extra dried worms. BTW, you can never go wrong on advice from "Magicman"!!!

It is not how often but how much will kill the fishes. Feed them just enough so they can finish the food in 2 minutes.
Anything extra may pollute the water.

Twice is OK, for sure. I feed my fish (tropical) twice a day. But don't feed them too much, otherwise the water will become polluted or even toxic.
