i had a miscarriage about 3 years ago and am now 8 weeks pregnant. They went though the tests to see what could have possibly happened, because the doctor thought it was me, but we started going to a fertility center. Everything was fine with me, except when it came to my husband.... He had a low sperm count and they were a little slow.... So yes it's possible, but your chances will be slim. we went to the fertility doctor where when it's time, they take his sperm, and clean out the bad and just keep the good ones. I had an IUI and was on chlomid and got pregnant the first try. You may need a little extra help with the low sperm count.

for an extremely low sperm count variety you will desire to attempt iui. you will desire a minimum of 5 million motile for this to have a sturdy risk of it working. Iui is extremely low value, oftentimes under $500. this is the place they inject the sperm with a catheter good into the utererus. For decrease counts you're staring at ivf. the fee for each cycle of ivf is approximately $10,000 and this is approximately 50% efficient. this is the place they take the sperm and eggs and placed them mutually and then place the embryos contained in the womb. you would be able to additionally look into why the count variety is low. each each now and then this is brought about via a varicocele, which may be fastened with surgical operation. If the guy has swollen tubes prednisone or yet another anti inflammatory may be efficient.

I haven't, but there are fertility clinics that accumulate sperm from the husband and insert them into the woman wanting to conceive. They will also check out the sperm's health, since low sperm count won't help if they are not ready to work, and you don't want them to work if the low sperm count is due to defects in the sperm.

My DH has very low sperm count. When we were first tested it was 0 and now after a few months of drug treatment it is now in the millions. He is taking Arimidex. We were told that it is still low to conceive naturally but we should keep trying. We are going to do IVF later this year but still trying and hoping to conceive with out help.
Best wishes to all of you and Baby Dust.

I was on clomid ...not because of the low sperm count...but as my Dr said it only takes one sperm to get you pregnant...start charting your cycle and find out exactly when you conceieve and make sure that you have sex every other day (for him to re-build due to the low count) I did, and got pregnant twice. Try the online charting cycles like www.baby2see.com

I started on my adventure to get my tubes reversed to have a baby...and they start with my tubal ligation record...and then my spouses sperm count...he was 13 million with good mobility...but they went ahead and did the surgery anyway...they keep saying only takes one...anyway, I dont have a living baby but I have had 2 losses!
best of luck...hopefully your fertility is high and that will counteract it!
