You got the old part right.
One of them, and I won't name names, or neither of them sing all that great. I wouldn't call them both very talented. Let me shut up before I get mobbed on here.

Cher is older and is cooler. She's like the original Madonna. I'm old enough to remember the Sony and Cher show and even though I was in kindergarten or whatever, I do remember looking forward to the awesome costumes Cher would wear. Madonna can't even touch that! Plus, Cher is beautiful, funny, and a fantastic academy award winning actress. Madonna can't touch that either!

When Madonna sings, it's like a really talented performer singing.
When Cher sings...POWERHOUSE!
But I still would have to go with Madonna. I've only heard a few of Cher's songs, and never really bought any of her albums. Cher's definitely older than Madonna. Someday I'll have all of Madonna's albums because I adore her! Cher's good and all, but not my generation.

Cher. I feel though Madonna has talent, she kinda ruined her reputation with like using herself in an in appropriate way if you kinda know what I'm getting at. For example with Britney Spears, and Christina Agulara live on like , the MTV awards or whatever they were making out on. people like that I don't like. But Cher on the other hand...

Madonna is not that old. At least, she is no where near Cher's age. I can not pick between then. I love them both. They are both great on stage and off.

I can't believe anyone actually thinks Cher???!!! It HAS to be Madonna!!!! Madonna always has been, still is and always will be a beautiful, super cool, modern day icon :) she just goes from strength to strenghth.
