ummm...

an excuse to throw away tax dollars for no good reason?

Really, nothing significant comes to mind.
The benefits far outweigh any propagandized negatives.

What America will lose when leaving Iraq (and it's just a question of "when", not "if") is primarily FACE. America was embarrassed by Vietnam, where it lost a war and basically surrendered. In Iraq, things are different, but there is no possibility of "winning" there because it has degenerated into a civil war, and we're not even one of the combatants. But if FACE is all America loses, it still shouldn't be underestimated; men have this obsession with their image as a "man", and often will risk death rather than humiliation. That, in a nutshell, is why America went in there, and why its leadership can't bear to face the pulling-out option. Bush will not allow the humiliation to occur on his watch, so wait until the next presidential election.

How about we create a nightmare by giving the enemy the 2nd largest oil riches on the planet. It will give them unlimited income to spend on KILLING US!.The USA will turn into another Israel, you will have the opportunity to get bombed while you are enjoying your favorite latte at starbucks. The goal of the islamonazis is destruction of OUR CIVILIZATION.We become islamo nuts or die.It is that simple.Any other dumb questions?

Other than an economy worldwide, standing, worldwide and pride. Nothing. It will be tomorrow, when we get attacked on a monthly basis, that we lose. By then we'll be too chicken-crap to do anything about it.

But, Peace will reign ( as long as you dont mind being a slave or dead.)

Oil profits? Iraq will descend into chaos? There will be a civil war in Iraq? We lose the global war on terror, which is being held strictly in Iraq.

The ability to ever fight the terrorists again.

Their tactic of attritition would win the day and if we go to say.....Sudan yeah you want us to go their the tertorists will resist and use the same tactics as in Iraq because they WORKED..

So we will lose a way to combat terrorism. That being with determination and the will to win.

Many Americans will lose their lives, because the world will think we are weenies, and they will bring the bloodshed to our shores. Who wants bombs going off on street corners in NY and Chicago??? Or worse, in the heartland at a school? These people have NO reservations about killing as many of us as they can. Let's have their sand bloody, rather than our grass.
