If you are just starting to get your cycle, it will not be regular at first. 3 days is normal, but so is 7. Everybody's different. For the cramps, try Midol.

It sounds pretty normal. You should still do regular checkups. My period has never been at a certain time or so many days. For me it usually lasts about 3 days but every once in a while it will last a whole week. I think you were asking too why your stomach is starting to hurt when you start your period. If you never cramped before you are really lucky. These things effect every woman differently so don't stress too much or you might miss a period from all the stress. :) Which that isn't always so bad. Take care and God bless.

The normal menstural cycle is 3-7 days in length. As for your stomach hurting yes this can be normal too. The reason for the cramping is because of the fact that the uterus is trying to push out the special lining that had built up in the weeks before because now it is not needed for the month.
If the cramping gets so bad that you are not able to function on a daily basis then you need to have it evaluated by your dr to try and see what could be causing the problem.

It should be fine. Don't worry! When I first started getting my periods the same thing happened to me. At first it would only last a few days. Now I have been getting periods that last for a week. It should just be that your body is changing as you are developing more and getting older. If you are still worried though the best addvice I can give you is to go and see a doctor.
I hope that all works out for you! Have a lovely day!
Lots of love,
Ella B

If you ust started your period recently it will change for a bit and vary flow and days. If youve had it for a long time then it may be from something you ae doing more exercise a change in your diet ect. Cramps or your stomach hurting is natural take a pain reliver. If you are worried go see your gyno and they will be able to give you the exact answer to what is going on and may be able to help you be more comfortable.

If you just got your period, like maybe say less then a year ago, its normal for your periods to be irregular for a while. And yes its totally normal for your stomach to be hurting. When your stomach hurts, that hurting is called cramps. Every girl or women gets cramps.. not every.. but pretty most of them. You can reduce the cramps for a while by playing sports, or taking a hot bath.

Yeah it's pretty much normal for your period to last anywhere from 3 to 7 days. It's fine for it to switch back and forth as far as number of days if your just getting your period because you're young and your hormones are still stabilizing. When your flow is heavier is when you should possibly be worried. But either way you should still see a gynocologist atleast twice a year if you're able to.

A7 day period won't hurt anything, and the stomach pain is not a big deal. Lots of woman have lower stomach pain and long periods every now and then.

To me, that sounds normal. I have my period for a full 7 days. I have different symptoms every month. Sometimes moody, sometimes crampy and sometimes sore breasts, sometimes no warning at all. I'd wait until next month to see what happens. If you are still concerned, then visit your doctor.
