That 70's show with friends. That's the best of both worlds.

Let's analyze the parallels, shall we? There is a group of friends who sit around on a couch talking - one group gets high on weed, the other on coffee. In each group there is an on again/off again couple, in which the guy has had a thing for the girl since childhood, and we all know they're destined for true love. Other characters have their hooks ups/break ups, but they're always second to the main relationship. Both had characters with unplanned pregnancies toward the end. Both had male characters about whom it was easy to make gay jokes (Fez, Chandler) but who would up finding female partners in the end.
However, only That 70s Show completely jumped the shark by packing off its main character to Africa for an entire season (or was it 2?) Friends definitely wins in the end.

That's a hard one!!! I own every season of both shows but I would have to say "That's 70's show"!! They are both very well written shows and I miss them both.
