Howard the Duck has never been released on DVD. The only way to get a dvd copy is to burn your own from VHS.
This is similar to Harry and the Hendersons. It is an older movie that was never released on dvd until just this past week.

If you want to buy Howard the duck - the best place to start would have to be eBay.com or amazon.com. They may have it on DVD or video. I was just watching it last week on one of the stars channels. The first time i seen this movie was at my uncle's house. He taped it off of HBO or cinnamax, i think. That was a great movie to watch. That movie is classic. It is still funny today. Great movie. I will give you another web site you can try also. You could try Columbia house.com. I have never ordered anything thru them on line. But i do order my DVDs thru the mail.

1986's "Howard the Duck" is not available on DVD, probably because it was voted the "80's Worst Film by the Critics. (I do not agree. It's way ahead of it's time, and the animation was great.) I searched for a long time to find this for a friend and continue to search periodically. As far as I can tell, it's never been officially released in the U.S. on DVD. If you search you can buy bootlegs, but you won't be able to find an official copy. You're taking a risk if you purchase it on DVD.

I don't think you can buy it on dvd. My husband has been looking for that movie for two years!! He has only found on VHS .

Try Ebay they have everything! I got alot of my movies I remember as a kid and shared them with my daughter.

cool film!!! i bought it on ebay! cant get it in the shop anymore, atleast idont think u can! i tried everywhere but the only place i found it was ebay
