The 'Press F1 to continue" message is a result of an error caused as the BIOS does its hardware checks during the boot process.
The BIOS boot process (bootstrap) preceeds the loading of the operating system.
The most amusing example of this occurs if you unplug a ps2 keyboard,
1, it generates the error
2, pressing F1 does no good because the keyboard is not plugged in.
3, if its ps2, you will need to do a hardware reset after plugging the keyboard in again.
The bios can be set to 'halt on'
'no errors' which will stop the error message appearing.
'keyboard errors' see above
'all errors' any hardware failure detected by the bios will halt the boot process and give the above message.

As already answered it is your bios which holds vital info on what hardware is installed on your PC. It checks for changed hardware on boot, if the battery if flat it retruns to defaults on each boot and if anything difffers it asks you to confirm the change. The battery is like a big watch battery and every one have changed is a CR2032 battery costing around £1 from supermarket or staples. This first boot after you change it it may ask you to confirm with F1 again but then further boots the problem should dissappear.

It's not windows XP, it's somethinng in your bios that is doing that. Next time you start the computer go into the bios and look for a setting to enable " quick Boot" or something similar to that. That should fix it.

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! Learn here https://tr.im/7e8OO
As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

I agree with previous responses. It sounds like something is amiss in the BIOS. Either something has been changed, or the battery is running low.
Try replacing the CMOS battery. Up to date ones looks like a flat, pound sized thing. It's probably marked CR2032. Most, if not all, computer stores should hold them. (Check before you purchase one as older motherboards used different sized ones.)
Before changing the battery, it might pay you to make a note of entries in the BIOS as once the battery is changed this information will need to be re-entered. (Most of the information will be auto-detected, but there may be options that will set to the default values.)

You don’t need to exercise for long periods of time. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results in case you work hard. Get a bypassing rope, skip for two a few minutes, do push ups for 60 seconds or so, skip for two minutes, rest for example minute. Then change the push around something else like sit ups along with do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s an instant, effective workout that will advance results than a long run or swim.

It could be your battery that's flat. Either put a new one in or leave your pc turned on all night, or day, as they recharge themselves. If you only use your pc in short burst then the m/board doesn't get chance to recharge and the battery soon goes flat. Or the BIOS may have been changed, but after what you say, this doesn't appear very likely.

Keep a food diary. Seeing every morsel of food you’ve eaten in an day written down can provide help to see where you’re overdoing the item, or reveal patterns or triggers to bad ways of eating.
