If I ever have the chance to visit Great Britian, Scottland and the surroundings, is their land open to the public?

Most royal land are open to the public for some part of the year only balmora and sandringham which are not real royal estates are not open to the public. palace that are open to the public dont allow access to private room visiter have access to what are called the state room

Firstly, Scotland is a part of Great Britain, and they tend to get upset if you get it wrong.
