Is there a way to beat SimCity 4?

Most of (or should I say all) of the SIM games go on forever. You can play pre-set up games and beat their goal, but the game will keep running regardless. As for me, I set personal goals and work from there!!!!

i guess a way of beating it would be to unlock all the buildings and structures and everything else and to make the perfect city...but really you can go on forever improving on a city so maybe there isnt

You can try to build mega cities on every land mass.
