Comedy - Wet Hot American Summer is the most underrated, most amazing comedy ever.
Horror - Brahm Storker's Dracula, Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me, or Silence of the Lambs.

Idiocracy starring Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph. It's a comedy with one scary premise. I never saw it in theaters, just bought it. I think it will become a cult classic.

i watched Turistas recently and liked it,not as gory as youd think. also, Premonition w/ Sandra Bullock was great. its more of a suspense thriller than actual horror. both of these are pretty new.
