When I feel like crap I act very angry and snap at anyone around...By telling them i'm fine they leave me alone and I don't hurt people's feelings without them having any fault about it. If I need help or advice I talk to them after I calm down, and if they have the fault I snap at them even if they don't ask me if i'm ok.

If someone asks me if im OK, I reply with how I feel.

i think what you are talking about is a psychology issue where the politeness in you combned with an ingrained communication function makes you say im fine.

If someone i know is now feeling good for whatever reason, and I ask them how they be doing and they answer im fine, i say you effing liar, wanna go for a pint?

Because when people ask "are you OK?" it's just a figure of speech. They don't really want to know whether the other person is alright or not. Weird. I think it's especially common in England (am English)

It depends on who is asking. Someone once told me that when a stranger (like someone at work) asks if your ok, then they are just being polite and don't really care how you are doing, so I answer with fine.
If it's someone close, I will sometimes say "I'm fine" at first, until I can settle my thoughts a bit and then I tell them what is wrong.

Depends on who is asking. If I'm feeling like crap and it's a friend, I tell them not to trip over the caution tape, it's a bad day.

Oh i do that all the time, i feel like i will bore them or something and they are only asking to be polite.

I know quite a few people who will tell me exactly how they feel along with their life story and i'm sure people are'nt really going to be interested in mine so i just say 'I'm fine thanks' you?

Because most people don't really want to know if you're OK or not, they are just trying to make small talk

Cause you are too polite!
If they don't want to know how I really feel, they shouldn't ask in the hope that I will give an answer to make THEM feel better :-)

Being polite!
Can you imagine!

Conversation:
First person 'Hi are you ok?'
Second person 'Well actually no I'm not, I've had a really bad day, my hair fell out, my dog/cat got hurt,' continued on rattling off extremely bad experiences.' etc etc
First person 'Oh Ok. I'll talk to you later then'.......
