Hopefully I was clear, I'm talking about the button that usually is set mid forearm length. Many men seem to neglect to button this button, or just forget to, what is the purpose of that button, and should it be buttoned?

Actually that's not where the cufflink goes.
Anyway, that extra button is only there to keep that part of the sleeve closed when you take off your jacket. And yes, you should button it. It looks neater.

I have not have been given any set way of buttoning. It relies upon on what style of temper i'm in. human beings usually study a thank you to do issues from their mothers and dads. Say, in case you have been dressed by buttoning from the backside up, there's a solid danger that it is the way you will do it once you strengthen up.

It should be buttoned. In older fashion it would have been connected with a cuff link. Of course, modern fashion is a little bit more convoluted.
