Sometimes people are not comfortable with their own body. That is a normal reaction. You can work on it by looking at yourself in the mirror and start naming the good things you like about your body and slowly your self-image will improve and then you will feel more comfortable with your husband

I used to be comfortable around my husband but after having our duaghter I feel uncomfortable. It's been 3yrs now and it's not that I look bad, I lost all the baby weight and he tells me all the time I look good. Hopefully I'll feel comfortable soon and you too. You're not alone.

When it comes to body issues insecurities are fairly common. I would say that shyness & insecurity with your husband of several years is fairly uncommon though.
Is there something he does to make you uncomfortable or is it the nudity that you're bothered by?

Who's to say whats normal.
I think its good not to get to comfortable with your spouse. I like to use the bathroom alone and hate it when my wife thinks she can barge right in.
Being a little shy is a good thing.

it's called insecurity...he needs to do things that will make you feel secure around him. Like tell you how beautiful you are. Whether you are intimately together or just shopping, you need to be reassured of how much he loves you and approves of you. (I am not trying to preach to you) but just try and pray to God about it too.

yeah it just the way you are lots and lots of people are the same as you whereas others can be naked in fromt of lots of people and not mind but he'll understand (well should) if you tell him

you are probably insecure. I don't know if it is you or if he has made you feel this way, but you need to do something about it. Do something that makes you feel good even if it has nothing ot do with appearance

Yes , it's normal! I have been with someone for 6 yrs. and still feel funny...but i'm a bit overweight.
