I am 35 weeks pregnant and the baby's heat beat was 123. Befor it was in the 130's and befor that it was in the 140's. Why is it droping?

The smaller the heart, the more often it has to beat. As it gets bigger it doesn't have to beat so often (your giant grown-up heart only beats 60-90 times a minute).

The baby is getting bigger and stronger. Your baby's heart doesn't have to work as hard, so the heartbeat is lower. As long as its not a oneday drop your fine.

the baby's heartbeat tends to get slower as pregnancy progresses. I think it's because the heart is bigger and doesn't have to beat as many times to get its job done, but that's just a thought. My doc just said it was normal for it to be slower and slower.

because they are active or not active . mine wa all over the place through my pregnancy. it went anywhere from 130 to 165. when you're in labor you'll have amonitor hooked up to you and you can watch the heartbeat the whole time and believe me it fluctuates a lot

She could be stressed or you can be at times sleeping or moving there are alot of factors here as long as they say shes fine dont worry.The baby feels what mom feels.
