I am a little underweight at 105 lbs and 5'6", but why do I never have a period lasting longer than 1-2 days....and this is only every 6 weeks or so?

in the past i have had a period for 6 days and as the years went by my period started to last for 3 days. After a while my period stopped coming, for a few months at a time. After not having a period for 6month went to the doctor and found out i had a thyroid problem. Even though i really was enjoying not having a period i had to find out what the problem was. Go to the doctor, im sure they will be able to help you more.

Everyone is different. I've known some that only have a period for 3 days and some for 7 days. I say your blessed. Just check with your doctor just to be on the safe side. Take care.

I would recommend double checking with your dr to see if something like a thyroid problem could be going on or some other hormone imbalance just to be on the safe side.

It's different for every one. I'd check with your doctor to make sure but hun if your alright then your absolutely LUCKY

are you on birth control? the longer you are on birth control the lighter your periods get....
also, if you are an athlete or very physically active, that can lighten your periods

check wit ur dr to be sure, but i would say ur really lucky, i wish mine only lasted 2 days...lol
