do they pierce it on your lip or under the pink part of your lip?
whats the best way to get it pierced- with a ring or stud?

grow up? I'm 21... I already have an eyebrow piercing and a bellybutton piercing and 9 ear piercings. 1 tattoo. all discreetly placed, not that noticeable

I've seen them both through the actual lip as well as in the skin above/below the lip.
It's safer to get the skin above/below rather than the actual lip itself.
Also, you could get either the ring or stud when you get pierced...it's just personal choice on which is better. Personally, I feel getting pierced with a stud is easier because you are more able to fully clean the piercing when you have to clean it...with the ring, it's more complicated.

u can get it pretty much anywhere u want, either below the lip or on the actual lip itself...i have mine below, in the center, with a ring...i luv it!!! i thought about having it done with a stud, but opted for the ring, & now i`m glad i did because obviously it shows up better!!!

How about a clip on?
That way when you grow up and realize how utterly moronic this whole thing is, you will not have done any damage!
