how can i calculate my final grade? I thought it was easy, but my teacher gets a different number somehow. my friends get the number i get..but just tell me in general please with an example

Try it this way. Say you got a 91% on your lecture grade and a 74 % on your lab:

91 X 0.75 = 68.25

74 X 0.25 = 18.5

Then add 68.25 + 18.5 = 86.75 % for the class.

Make sure that your two grades are on the same scale (0-100, for example). Then take 75% of the lecture grade and 25% of the lab grade and then add them together.

Take your lecture grade and multiply it by 0.75

Then multiply your lab grade by 0.25

Add the two results together and that will be your final grade.

100 point class... 75 point lecture and a 25 point lab.

If that's not it, you need to specify more.
