1. I Can't Stop Loving You - Ray Charles
2. Please Release Me - Esther Phillips
3. Love Letters - Ketty Lester
4. I'll Never Fall In Love Again - Tom Jones
I do like Percy Sledge, and just for tidbit's sake,
The Rightous Brothers 'Unchained Melody"
was originally done in 1956 by Al Hibbler.
We were running 10 hour shifts on a factory
production line (most boring job in the world)
and Hibbler would come on the loud speaker
radio singing "time goes by so slowly."
and everybody would groan.
I'm not knocking your choices, I think they're
great !!!

If a picture paints a thousand words
Then why can't I paint you
The words will never show
The you I've come to know
And if a face could launch a thousand ships
Then where am I to go
There's no one home but you
You're all that's left me to
And when my love for life is running dry
You come, you come and pour yourself on me
If a man could be two places at one time
I'd be with you
Tomorrow and today
Beside you all the way
If the world should stop revolving
Spinning, spinning slowly down to die
I'd spend the end with you
And when the world was through
Then one by one, the stars would all go out
Then you and I would simply fly away
If - Bread.
