I'm 25 weeks along and having a girl. We have already decided on naming her Claire or Clayre (not sure what spelling we prefer). What middle name sounds good for Clayre (or Claire) with last name of Cornelius?

Clayre/Claire Elizabeth Cornelius
Clayre/Claire Olivia Cornelius
I personally like Clayre, I'd never seen it spelled like that before, but I think it's such a cool name.

First of all, you've chosen a GREAT name for your daughter *pokes screen name*. But PLEASE don't spell it Clayre. I can gurarantee you that NOBODY will spell it right. I spell it Claire which is the most common spelling and it really annoys me when people misspell it, and it's always been misspelled Clair or Clare when it is misspelled.

Middle name suggestions:
Claire Allison Cornelius (my name)
Claire Alyson Cornelius
Claire Amanda Cornelius
Claire Anneliese Cornelius
Claire Bethany Cornelius
Claire Danielle Cornelius
Claire Eliza Cornelius
Claire Elizabeth Cornelius
Claire Isabella Cornelius
Claire Isabelle Cornelius
Claire Josephine Corenelius
Claire Juliet(te) Cornelius
Claire Lorena Cornelius
Claire Miranda Cornelius
Claire Naomi Cornelius
Claire Noelle Cornelius
Claire Olivia Cornelius
Claire Sophia Cornelius
Claire Violet Cornelius

My favorites are Claire Allison (because it's my name) and Claire Isabella because it flows well with your last name. Congratulations on your little girl, and again, you've chosen a great name =)

The spelling Claire or Clair is better than Clayre- which seems kind of harsh to me. Middle names could be:
Jane
Rae
Aisling
Jacinta
Fiona

Claire Elizabeth. Sounds like a proper young lady. Clayre sounds like you were trying to hard! Good luck and congrats!
