How can I made a movie prop size roll of film with the strip of negative rolling out from it?

How can I made a movie prop size roll of film with the strip of negative rolling out from it? OR a movie reel with the film rolling out of it. Im thinking about 3-4 feet high.

This needs to be low cost, its for a charity event.

Try using a trash can. It must be round. If it isn't wrap it with a Uhaul Box and paint it the color you need with $1.oo store spray paint. The film could be a piece of painted poster board. Your adhesive use duct tape.

You can buy a sheet of plywood and have someone in shop class cut a circle out of it. You could build a small wooden frame onto it to make it stand straight, then position it a couple of feet away from a wall. Paint it silver with black reel sections, and then use paper for the film. The paper can come on a roll from an art supply store and you can paint the frames onto it.

You could also ask for donated plywood.
