Since there are 60 minutes in an hour

fraction of an hour = 7/60+12/60+21/60
fraction = 40/60 =2/3 of an hour.

You want to add up the total number of minutes and then show them as divided by the number of minutes in 1 hour. Then simplify the answer.

I am happy to help but do not give the answer as I believe it is more important for you to figure it out. But again am happy to help with instructions. That way you learn to do this rather than just copy down the popular answer provided.
