well, i think Bosnia is a country in progress. Athough I've never been there, I plan on visiting Saraevo soon...

I think Bosnia is in the same boat as Romania economically...But I remember driving through there back when it was still Yugoslavia on my way from Italy to Greece. I know it has natural beauty...I didn't go into Sarajevo but I did go along the coast to the town of Neum...absolutely wonderful (although I liked the Dalmatian coast in Croatia better - Dubrovnik and Sveti Stefan). I would definitely like to go back to the area to see how it has changed, if it's improved...I'm sure it has...and maybe even see Sarajevo.

Sorry- the image of Bosnia that we have in the States is that it is wartorn and poor as a result of conflict. I've seen photos of beautiful scenery there though. Everyone loves (or should love) their homeland All the best to you.

i'm croatian, my dad went to bosnia when he was younger, he didnt stay there long, he said he loved the people there and the landscape was beautiful, he said that h would go there if he could, but i havent ever been there,
