Just say I need to schedule an appointment..I know what you mean though, I hate talking to people, if I could handle everything online I would.

Say, "I need to schedule an appointment with Dr. ####" That way if she is not the person that handles appointments, she will direct you accordingly. Say that again to the next person that answers the line. Once you are on the line with the person who schedules appointments, they will take care of asking general questions and all you have to do is answer.

just call and say "i'd like to make an appointment" when they ask for the reason, just say "i'm having some issues i would like to talk about" :)

You tell your name, you say " I would like an appointment for Dr ....... May it be on .............?(say a day of the week, a date and time that suits you)

The receptionist will tell you either "OK" or "Could you come.....(another day at another time) and then you tell her if you can or not.
