My timing belt slipped and was replaced. However, it is now making noises from the timing belt area when the car has been driving for 20 to 30 minutes in warm temperature. I had the timing belt, idler pulley, and tensioner replaced already at the dealership. What can still be the problem? ANybody know why it is still making a noise from there in warm temperatures of above 60 degrees after the car has been driven for 20 to 30 minutes? I mean there is nothing left i can change right?

Could be your water pump bearings (assuming it's driven by the belt).

What kind of noise is it - squeaky, rumbling or ....?

belt is too tight, or a bearing-definitely go to another shop. Throwing parts at it isn't good. Your description does however scream bad bearing in a pulley. Ask to see the old parts when they change something, there are many that bill for new and just make an adjustment. Sick but true. Old guy

It is probly your timing belt that is lose.; If you have the money take it to the shop and they will look at it and probly tell you that your timing belt needs to be tighten up. Do that and then go from there.

try this, take a piece of rubber hose two feet long, and use it like a stethescope to focuse on where the sound is coming from. it may have helped , if i knew what kind of car you have, and what engine. or if you discribed the noise.

Could be to tight or loose. When the temp changes, it changes the size too.
