i came home from school and noticed her left eye is slightly sunken in and the fur around her nose looks a little thinner, like, i can see the skin.

shes as active as always and dosent seem to be in pain.

is it just a cold or somthing more serious.

Mice don't get 'colds'. Neither do cats and dogs - their immune system is different to ours. Any illness in a mouse is serious because they're so small.

Mice also do not show pain - it's not conducive to survival. In the wild, the weak ones get picked off pretty quick, if not by predators then by their own kind! So they don't show pain.

Take the mouse to the vets, they can give you meds and it isn't expensive. How old is the mouse? They don't tend to live longer than 2 years. I've kept lots of rodents, and can tell you the sunken in eye thing is not a good sign I'm afraid.

Mice only live so long, fancy or feeder. Is it worth whatever your vet charges to you? If so, go, and soon. As I was told in one of my questions, better safe than sorry. Good luck.
