My personal opinion and belief would be NO I would not abort the child. However, each person has to look at themselves and their stiutation and decided for themselves what is best for them and the baby.
If a parent knows she can not care for the child, could she put it up for adoption sure, but in my line of work they would classify the baby as "unadoptable" so more likely then not that child would end up in foster care and live in a nursing home for the rest of her life.
I guess that would put it into a little more perspective for some people.
This is/would have to be a personal choice, the mother has to search herselve and do what is best for her.
Good Luck~ This has to be hard.

This question will probably just get a lot of rhetoric from both sides of the abortion debate.

If a baby has a disease or someother problem during pregnancy then it will probably either end up in miscarriage or be still born. If the baby came to term and you really could not support then you could put it up for adoption. If you look in any phonebook, newspaper, the internet, or any catholic church you can get information on adoption.

Ummm..... is it conceivable to stay with out existence help once you're paralyzed from the neck down? I recommend.... seem at what handed off to Christopher Reeve. particular he grew to become into waiting to benefit little or no of his motor skills yet that grew to become into after serious strenuous rehabilitation that expenditures particularly some money. i don't think of that somewhat one might have the potential to bypass by using that, and that i might think of that the toddler would possibly not even stay with that variety of disability. I recommend, whilst somebody is paralyzed that's because of fact nerves are actually not receiving indicators from the ideas because of trauma that motives severed nerves/spinal cord. If there are no indicators going from the ideas to something of the physique then there may be no indicators from the ideas for the toddler's coronary heart, lungs, and different mandatory structures to kick in so i might think of the toddler in all probability does not stay very long no rely if it incredibly is able to stay to tell the story in any respect.

I think that I probably would, because, for me, it would be so incredibly painful to have to watch my child suffer with such a terrible disability. I think that I would also weigh the reality of my situation, and recognize that it would be extremely difficult for me to provide for myself or my child in a way that would provide my child with a meaningful life and good care. But I would be terribly sad about being faced with this choice, and I would never presume to know what the right answer would be for any other woman.

DEFINATELY not! Stephen Hawkings has accomplished so much for himself and humanity even with his physical disablement. It will be difficult to provide for the child, granted, but once the child is alive (even if only in the womb) give them a chance to live. They should be able to make their own choice on whether their life is worth living or not.

yes i would.i think it is cruel for a person to be forced to live a life with no hope and some people do because they are selfish and want a check for having a crippled child.that is evil i think .i know not all do some really love their child and thats great but i feel just my opinion it is better to end the misery.good luck to you.

There are so many other things I would need to know before I could answer this question. You're just going to get a bunch of rhetoric - not honesty.
